Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Brand Manager EMEA - Maternity Cover to join our team in the UK
Summary
In line with our commitment to growth and to increase awareness of our position as the world's largest hotel company, the Brand Manager EMEA - Maternity Cover will contribute to the implementation of brand standards and delivery of marketing activities which raise awareness and consideration of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and its family of brands across the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Eurasia (EMEA) division.
The post holder will liaise with global brand leaders to interpret and adapt brand resources for EMEA hotels and customers. With the support of an internal design resource, the Brand Manager EMEA - Maternity Cover will deliver regional brand templates and oversee the distribution of brand assets to both internal and external audiences.
They will also lead on creative concepts for both digital and offline advertising, utilising creative agencies where needed.
Additionally, they will oversee Development Marketing to support the team attracting new hotels to the Wyndham system. This will require management of a Development Marketing Specialist.
In order to deliver within this role, the post holder will need to act as a key point of marketing interface, maintaining a continual dialogue with colleagues in the wider Marketing team as well as the Development, Revenue Management, Sales and Operations teams both in EMEA and other divisions as required.
The post holder will also be required to deliver ad hoc projects and work as defined by the Head of Marketing EMEA, dependent on the demands of the business.
Successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of the ability to work legally in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the branding of advertising campaigns, steering imagery and copywriting before handing off to the Digital team to execute the campaigns. Includes ownership of creative budget.
2. Assume role as brand guardian for all Wyndham brand identities in the EMEA division, supporting other marketing functions and internal departments as required to ensure graphics and messaging are on brand. Includes ownership of the Marketing Services Platform - an online tool to distribute brand assets to a variety of users. Includes ownership of Marketing Services budget.
3. Responsibility for end-to-end delivery of brand identity standards for all brands active in the EMEA division, in line with WHR corporate and regional direction. This will include identifying brand signature services and supporting the Operations team in implementation of these initiatives on property.
4. Responsibility for Development Marketing, including line management of the Development Marketing Specialist EMEA.
5. Provide branded assets such as brochures and posters for EMEA functional teams, including Business Development, Sales, HR and Sustainability.
6. Direct line management of the Brand Marketing Designer EMEA and dotted line management of the Loyalty, Brand & Digital Marketing Intern EMEA.
Complexity
The Brand Manager EMEA - Maternity Cover implements key marketing initiatives that will drive value for our hotels, build our brand(s) reputation and contribute towards commercial success on a daily basis. This role requires the ability to manage multiple assignments as well as understand and balance the needs of a diverse audience of stakeholders.
Scope/ Financial Responsibility
This role is responsible for the delivery of strategic brand marketing activity in EMEA, designed to raise the profile of the brands in our portfolio and ultimately increase brand awareness, affinity and overall occupancy and ADR within our hotels. The role includes part ownership of the Marketing EMEA budget, with forecasting and invoice management requirements. The role also includes line management of two permanent employees, as well as dotted line management of an intern.
