Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills Introduces Scott Catling – Director of Sales and Rajdeep Roy – Director of Revenue Management
Scott Catling will lead the growth of corporate & group business and Rajdeep Roy to drive profitable revenue.
Scott Catling – Director of Sales
Scott Catling has been appointed as the Director of Sales for Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills.
He will be leading the growth of the 481 key property with a strategic focus on corporate & group business by offering customers easy access to Expo2020, sporting venues & local business hubs.
Commenting on his latest role, Scott said: “I am very excited to join Radisson DAMAC Hills. It’s the first Radisson-branded property worldwide located by a golf course, the Trump International Golf Club.
In his new role, he is responsible for all Commercial activities for the hotel and is looking forward to driving successful results for the newly opened property.
Scott for the last 15 years has gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry working for Marriott International in UK, Qatar & Dubai. Scott continues to implement a strategic approach to work in order to drive business. He continues to foster strategic partnerships and believes it’s vital in order to achieve success in today’s competitive market.
Rajdeep Roy – Director of Revenue Management
Rajdeep Roy has been appointed as the Director of Revenue Management for Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills. In his new role, he is responsible for all Revenue and Commercial activities for the hotel and is looking forward to driving profitable revenue for the owners and shareholders whilst ensuring an efficient revenue management process is in place for the hotel’s goal towards consistently taking the pole position within its competitive set.
Rajdeep did his Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from Robert Gordon University and for the last 19 years has gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry working in Front Office and Revenue Management in multiple countries including Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Singapore, and India. Rajdeep joins Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills from InterContinental Hotels Groups where he was responsible for driving Pricing Strategy and Revenue Operations for EMEAA Region. In his 15+ years of experience driving revenue performance for on and off property, he has successfully developed revenue strategies to win in difficult market conditions. Rajdeep commented, “I believe revenue management is not about sitting behind a laptop and churning out numbers, but more about strategic leadership and effective communication in driving commercial efficiencies.”
Rajdeep is an avid cricket fan, and when he is not playing or watching cricket, he enjoys creating travel video stories on YouTube from his experiences of traveling around the world.
Commenting on their appointments General Manager Siddhartha Sattanathan remarked – “I am delighted to have these two seasoned professionals strengthen our management team.
Rajdeep brings to the group, a solid revenue management background, having worked at both corporate and hotel levels around the world.
Scott has worked in the GCC and Dubai for over a decade now. He has the strategic advantage of having worked in our neighbourhood previously; I should add, his sense of humor is a huge bonus and ticks off one of RHG’s beliefs of “having fun in all that we do! “
