With a remarkable 17 years of experience in the hospitality, travel, and tourism sectors, Dariya Bushmakina has established herself as a true industry leader. In July 2021, she joined the world's largest Mercure property, Mercure Hotel Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road, as the Director of Sales & Marketing, where she has already achieved notable success in a short period.
Throughout her career, Dariya has held key positions in renowned international hotel brands, including Accor, Starwood, and Rotana. Her diverse background and extensive knowledge of the industry have allowed her to excel in various roles. Moreover, she has also worked with international destination management companies (DMCs) such as Meeting Point Global, further expanding her expertise in the field.
Originally, from Izhevsk, Russia, Dariya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, with a double major in Linguistics and Economics from the esteemed Izhevsk State Technical University. This combination of financial acumen, linguistic proficiency, and economic insight enables her to approach business challenges with a well-rounded perspective.
In her new capacity, Dariya will spearhead the Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Long-Term departments.
