Job Description For Senior Manager, Paid Media (Full Potential)
JOB SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing GC strategic paid media campaigns across various platforms to drive preference for our brands, increasing customer loyalty, and supporting revenue and commercial goals. This role will lead our GC paid media strategy development, manage our media agencies on planning and execution, and keep optimizing the paid media efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of the GC media landscape, a data-driven approach, and the ability to stay ahead of the latest trends in paid media.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communication or related field
- Expertise in using key paid media advertising platforms and programmatic advertising systems.
- More than 7 years of media industry experience
Preferred
- Experience with travel industry, hospitality and/or Internet Technology is a plus
- Experiences in paid media planning and operation, from awareness building, engagement to conversation purpose
- Understanding the Tencent, Baidu, Red, Google, Meta and other key media ecosystem, and also experienced working across all media channels
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES - Manage holistic, multi-channel paid media planning for our marketing campaigns and foster innovation with new thinking in partnership with media agencies and internal partners.
- Manage our paid media agency for the daily works and ensure them to deliver a best-in-class outcome
- Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Test emerging media tactics and iterate based on learnings.
- Generate detailed reports that measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights to inform future campaigns.
- Stay current with the latest paid media trends, platforms, and best practices, integrating these insights into campaign strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Brand Management, Loyalty, PR and Digital, to ensure seamless campaign execution and business goal delivery.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders from paid media platforms to enhance the cooperation and innovation.
