We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join the front office team at The Park Grand Kensington, a prestigious 4-star boutique property located in Earls Court. The hotel will undergo significant upgrades to rebrand as a lifestyle brand within Marriott.
About the Role:
As a Receptionist at The Park Grand Kensington, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and a seamless stay. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Welcoming and registering guests according to hotel standards and legal requirements.
• Addressing guest queries or issues promptly to ensure a comfortable stay.
• Collaborating with all hotel departments to guarantee a smooth guest experience.
• Handling reservation queries and following correct procedures to optimize room rates.
• Preparing guest bills and ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
• Adhering to daily, weekly, and monthly procedures, including filing registration cards and correspondence.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience as a Receptionist in a 4-5* hotel, preferably within the Marriott brand.
• Proficiency in the Opera system.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required by business needs.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Solutions-oriented with a positive attitude.
