Position Title: PR & Communications Manager
Reports to: Bvlgari Tokyo-Osaka Restaurant GM/Global PR office at Bvlgari Headquarters
JOB SUMMARY
As a PR & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for elevating the brand presence of Bvlgari Tokyo & Osaka Restaurants (Bvlgari Dolci, Bvlgari Ginza Bar, Bvlgari Il Cioccolato, Bvlgari Events and Bvlgari Il Caffe') through strategic public relations, influencer marketing, media collaborations, and event execution. This role requires close coordination with Headquarters to implement global initiatives while driving locally relevant campaigns. Additionally, you will oversee digital marketing efforts, sales promotions, and occasional advertising initiatives to enhance visibility and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Public Relations & Media Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media editors to ensure consistent and high-impact coverage.
• Develop and execute press releases and editorial collaborations to maximize media exposure.
• Oversee influencer marketing initiatives to drive brand engagement and visibility.
• Lead the planning and execution of PR events, including guest bartender nights, seasonal launches, and media tastings.
Reporting & Communication Strategy
• Serve as a key liaison between Headquarters, Bvlgari Tokyo & Osaka Restaurants, and the Bvlgari Japan PR team, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment.
• Participate weekly in Bvlgari Japan's Marcom Meeting and PR Meeting, gathering valuable insights and sharing key updates with each outlet.
• Provide monthly reports to Headquarters summarizing PR activities, media coverage, and campaign performance.
• Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen brand positioning and messaging, securing approval from Headquarters.
• Execute media outreach and stakeholder communications to reinforce the brand's market presence.
Sales Promotions & Digital Marketing (Supervise execution by junior team members)
• Oversee the creation of promotional tools for local items and events, including:
o Brochures & in-store promotional materials (POP)
o Newsletters (content review)
o Social media content and Instagram insights analysis
o Website management & Google Business management
o Product & promotional photography for digital platforms
Advertising & Digital Campaigns (Occasional)
• Manage social media advertising campaigns (Instagram Ads), ensuring strategic budget allocation and performance optimization.
• Implement and oversee Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid management.
• Monitor and analyze Google Analytics, making data-driven optimizations for better engagement and ROI.
SKILLS
• Digital Literacy - Proficient in basic computer operations, including word processing, internet browsing, and standard office software. Experience with Canva, Illustrator, or other design tools is a plus.
• Fluent English Communication - Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, ensuring clear and professional communication in an international setting.
• Effective Writing - Strong writing skills to craft clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communication, including emails, reports, and presentations.
