Job Description For Massage Therapist/Esthetician Part Time, 50%
Job Summary:
The Wellness Suite Therapist ensures the delivery of treatments and the smooth operation of the spa while guaranteeing high-quality services tailored to an upscale clientele. They ensure an exceptional guest experience in line with the luxury standards of the establishment (LQA & Forbes).
Main Responsibilities:
Client Reception and Care: - Welcome clients with courtesy and professionalism.
- Identify clients' needs and advise on appropriate treatments and services.
- Prepare the treatment environment and explain procedures to clients.
- Handle guest calls and emails according to Ritz Carlton Standards.
- Ensure that each guest receives a personalized and exceptional spa experience.
- Address guest concerns, inquiries, and feedback in a professional manner to guarantee client satisfaction.

Treatment Delivery: - Perform treatments according to the brand protocols and those related to the Marriott International group, LQA and Forbes standards.
- Adapt treatment techniques based on individual needs and the protocols defined by the establishment and the brand.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Wellness Suites Space Maintenance: - Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Conduct inventory of products and equipment under supervisor guidance, and report any restocking needs.
Sales and Promotions: - Promote spa services and encourage bookings for future treatments.
- Advise and sell the spa brand's products.
Collaboration: - Work closely with hotel teams (front desk, reservations, housekeeping, etc.).
Client Management: - Ensure a personalized and high-quality welcome for spa clients according to LQA and Forbes standards.
- Handle complaints and special requests, providing suitable and prompt solutions following internal procedures.
- Ensure client satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
- Promote the spa's products and services to clients.
- Promote the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
Administrative and Financial Management: - Perform spa opening and spa closure depending on shift scheduled.
Skills and Qualifications Required: - Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a spa therapist in luxury hotel spa.
- Extensive hands-on experience in performing various spa treatments such as massages, facials, and body treatments.
- Education: Certification in massage therapy, aesthetics and other related wellness fields are required.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of spa treatments and products, as well as hygiene and safety standards.
- Commercial Skills: Customer service orientation, sales, and business development skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Book 4 Time, Opera, GXP.
- Language Skills: Fluent in French and English; a third language is an asset.
- Personal Qualities: Consistent attention to detail, leadership, organizational skills, good presentation, and excellent communication.
