Job Description For Manager, Partnership Marketing for South Asia (6 months contract)
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for Marriott International's partnerships in South Asia. This marketing leader will be working directly with agencies, vendors, suppliers, and other business partners for developing and executing marketing initiatives that help the company grow the respective partnership businesses. This is a high visibility role that requires coordination with stakeholders and partners across the region & global teams. This role will report to Senior Manager, Enterprise Partnership & Cards, South Asia and Senior Manager Partnership Marketing, APEC.
Marketing strategy
- Executing campaigns designed to build partnership program awareness, promote products and services, and generate leads to meet partnership KPIs.
- Evaluating the success of marketing campaigns based on key performance metrics.
- Fully own and manage marketing budget for respective partnership projects
- Coordinating with internal functional teams (HQ, Continent, and area teams) to develop new products launch or business as usual marketing campaigns
- Analyzing data from various sources such as websites, social media platforms, and mobile applications to identify opportunities for improving marketing strategy
- Creating an online presence for businesses through effective use of social media and digital channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and local market channels, affiliates etc.
- Coordinate and develop digital media plan with our agency to achieve partnership objectives
- Develop offline plan to build lower & upper funnel marketing strategies along with media agencies
- Managing all aspects of marketing initiatives from initial point of contact to closure
- Responsible for the day-to-day management, execution, and activation of assigned tasks
- Coordinate with agency & designers for development of creatives as per campaign needs
- Track and measure the value to Marriott of each partner, according to specific partnership evaluation scorecard and update internal and partner reports accordingly.
Management of existing partnerships - Own marketing and branding need of the partnerships in collaboration with cross function teams
- Manage budget, legal compliance, iT requirements, operations & reporting for all partnerships
- Lead and support the setup of partner campaigns and offers (e.g. campaign / offer development, brief submissions, internal ticket creation, bonus code and source code requests, T&C's, artwork creation, landing page creation, marketing asset creation).
- Work with relevant global and regional stakeholders to secure appropriate resources to support partner activities.
- Audit and monitor all partner and Marriott channels to ensure information is correct and in alignment with contractual commitments and financial regulations.
- Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders to engage with partner opportunities such as leveraging partner media and creating joint marketing programs with assigned partners to address business needs.
- Help develop the partner activation plan and manage its day-to-day implementation, including project management of joint initiatives, communications planning, budget management, and regular partner status updates as well as managing agency resources if appropriate.
Overarching goals of partnerships team: - Localization: Localize Marriott International's award-winning loyalty program(s) through innovative partnerships
- Acquisition: Expand the penetration of MI's loyalty and partnership programs in the market
- Awareness: Drive visibility of all MI loyalty and partnership programs in the market
- Engagement: Develop & execute the overall member engagement strategy to drive member experience, retention & in turn loyalty
CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Social Science or any relevant disciplines.
- 6-8 years+ of experience with a track record of driving business outcomes in various marketing roles, including digital marketing, b-to-c channel marketing, brand marketing or partnership development.
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in campaign management
- Agency experience will be preferred
Key Skills and Experiences - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and able to deliver presentations effectively.
- Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including area marketing team, operation area, agency, partners, and third-party vendors.
- Good computer skills on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Key Competencies - Customer relationships & global mindset shows an understanding of the needs of different customer/stakeholder segments and develops appropriate service strategies.
- Attention to details, organized with strong execution ability.
