JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Commercial Performance - Global Goal Setting is responsible for supporting the goal setting process and developing goal setting tools for sales channels globally. This role involves identifying and implementing solutions, supporting continent leads and sales teams, and providing centralized services and tools. Additionally, they support training efforts, collaborate with technology teams, and ensure stakeholders can use reports and systems effectively. The manager addresses stakeholder needs, plans resources, and communicates ideas clearly, using technical skills in data management tools.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- 4-year degree from and accredited university and 2+ years of relevant professional experience, OR
- 4+ years for relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
Preferred
- Experience analyzing business trends and implementing new programs and strategies to improve performance.
- Good understanding of setting and executing sales strategies and of sales and revenue management systems and processes.
- Experience handling and analyzing large data sets.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of data management and tools, like Microsoft Excel, Access, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Caspio, Snowflake, and SQL is a plus.
- Experience in a direct sales environment.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES - Assists in developing strategies, operating plans, and business processes for the department, aligning with sales function strategies.
- Supports the creation and management of business processes and projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, and monitoring progress and results. Influences the work of cross-functional or extended teams.
- Responds to and resolves business requests with limited to moderate risk.
- Works with cross-functional teams and leadership to develop and present alternative solutions to business issues.
- Assist in leading the sales goal setting process, production tracking, and timeline management across all sales channels.
- Manage vendor relationships with external vendors supporting tools.
- Create and execute productivity reports to support production tracking.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to support the needs of the continent sales teams.
- Support training and communication efforts for the annual goal setting process for all channels, accommodating goal changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Global Technology teams to develop, test, and sustain tools and reporting for goal setting and productivity measurement for bonus compensation and Golden Circle/Top Performer programs.
- Ensure field stakeholders can effectively use available reports and systems.
- Partner with other departments to develop and implement analytical solutions.
- Respond to field inquiries as requested, conducting research as needed.
- Provide logistical support for training activities, such as organizing and coordinating webinars and conference calls.
- Participate in and facilitate training sessions, conference calls, and webinars.
- Collaborate with training teams to document and proof training materials, timelines, and processes.
- Organize and lead cross-functional work efforts, including continuous tool/resource improvement, strategy changes, and sub work groups for major initiatives.
- Develop strategies and tools to support the outcomes of major cross-functional initiatives. Produces accurate and timely reports, presentations, etc..
- Identify, scope, and implement enhancements to support strategic continent directions.
- Determines priorities, schedules, plans, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time.
The salary range for this position is $55,800 to $90,200 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
