DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
As a Marketing and Platform Operations Intern in the Consumer Operations department, you will gain hands-on experience in email marketing, digital merchandising, and content management. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, agencies, and stakeholders to make a real impact in our marketing efforts for owned channels. This role is perfect for a self-starter eager to develop skills in digital marketing, campaign planning, coordination, and strategy, as well as data analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Email Marketing Support (DMM)
- Manage email schedules and support communication with both internal stakeholders and external agencies, ensuring smooth execution of email marketing campaigns.
- Source and organize images from Digital Asset Management (DAC) for lifecycle, retargeting, and email marketing campaigns.
- Merchandising Campaign Management Support (DME)
- Coordinate placement availability with internal stakeholders for digital merchandising campaigns on App and Web.
- Identify alternative placements for continent/area campaigns to resolve content clashes, in collaboration with our content ops team.
- Update submissions for digital merchandising campaign requests (content, dates, and images) based on requests from campaign requestors / managers.
- Assist with campaign content needs, including sourcing and uploading images to DAC and ensuring timely delivery for campaign execution.
- Serve as a point of contact for teams with questions about digital merchandising campaigns, content uploads, and placement guidelines.
- Take notes during monthly merchandising meetings with internal stakeholders and ensure timely follow-ups on action items with regional campaign managers.
- Support campaign performance analysis by extracting and analyzing raw data, generating insights, and creating reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and leaders.
- CreativeX Platform Support
- Review and process CreativeX access requests, ensuring appropriate levels of access.
- Monitor and review in-flight creatives on the platform to ensure they follow our best creative practices and guidelines, as well as flagging high-value assets that have not passed guidelines but should have.
- Updating learning sources / guideline decks and communicating any changes to area teams.
- Contribute to enhancing and redesigning reports, including the monthly CreativeX report that we share with internal stakeholders.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESWe are looking for an intern who is passionate, committed, and eager to learn, but most above all - a self-starter with the following preferred (not necessarily required) skills:
Soft Skills: - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with agencies, area marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in following up on outstanding tasks and ensuring all campaign details are accurate and up to date.
- Problem-solving skills to find alternative campaign placements and scheduling conflicts efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable taking initiative and proposing improvements to existing processes and reports.
Hard Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for handling data and creating reports/deck.
- Experience with any content management system (CMS) and Digital Asset Management (DAC) platforms is a plus.
- Basic photo editing and image optimization skills for campaign content (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
- Familiarity with data analysis and/or visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
QUALIFICATION STANDARD - Education:
Undergraduate / Postgraduate degree in any field (analytical fields preferred) - Requirements:
- Singaporean, Singapore PR, or valid Student Pass / Work Holiday Visa Pass
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or a recent graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or the United States
- Able to commit to a six-month internship.
