An opportunity for a 3-month placement as a Human Resources Intern exists within Marriott International, supporting and shadowing both the Cluster HR Manager and HR Coordinator in their daily tasks across both Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands and AC Hotel by Marriott Melbourne Southbank. As this is an unpaid internship, you will embark on this opportunity as part of your university's work integrated learning course requirement.

Position Summary & Duties:

• Complete administrative tasks as set out by the HR Manager or HR Coordinator
• Maintain an organised SharePoint consisting of employee documentation, training records and HR reports
• Assist in projects assigned to your internship to help you grow and satisfy development in your HR career
• Facilitate onboarding processes alongside the HR Coordinator such as new hire inductions, training sessions, preparing documentation and materials
• Assist employees with general low-level enquiries, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

About You:

• A passion for the HR industry and have a working knowledge of the Australian labour laws and environment
• Currently studying where internship is required in an approved university or educational program
• Adequate Microsoft Office skills particularly across Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint
• Working rights in Australia
• Able to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week, working across both of our hotels located in Docklands and Southbank (Melbourne)
