Job Description For Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor/Housekeeping Supervisor - Casa Brera
Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.
Reporting to Director of Housekeeping, the role will cover Housekeeping tasks.
- This is full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off.
- The starting date is estimated in May

What you'll do - Co-ordinate housekeeping activity, planning and distributing room-cleaning assignments with the outsourcing company.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas after they've been cleaned, to ensure the highest standards are being met.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues and missing or damaged property liaising with Engineering and Security
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, especially laundry activities.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Support team to reach common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Director of Housekeeping.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company guidelines.
What you'll need: - A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-first attitude
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- Flexibility, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking ability
- Great storytelling skills in English and at least intermediate Italian (both writing and speaking)
- Previous Housekeeping supervisory experience is a big plus
- Ideally, technical knowledge of Opera
