Front Desk Associate
The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while ensuring smooth and efficient hotel operations. This role involves greeting guests, handling reservations, and managing inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
What will you do?
Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and provide an overview of hotel services.
Handle check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Offer loyalty program enrollment and process payments, ensuring accurate billing.
Provide information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
Handle guest requests, including room service orders and special accommodations.
Manage reservations via phone and system, ensuring accuracy and efficient booking processes.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining guest records, processing payments, and handling mail and packages.
Monitor room availability and update room status as necessary.
Assist with guest complaints, resolving issues professionally and ensuring satisfaction.
Perform daily financial reconciliation and balance shift audits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Collaborate with bell staff and valet personnel to assist guests with luggage and parking needs.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and efficiency.
Proficiency in hotel management systems and front desk operations is a plus.
Bilingual skills are an advantage.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment efficiently.
Occasional reaching, bending, and light physical tasks as required.
