Job Description For FLEX Senior Manager, Partnerships US and Canada
This is a temporary position.
The Sr. Manager, Marketing Partnerships is a key member of the US/CAN Integrated Marketing Team reporting up to the Sr Dir of Marketing Partnerships. He/she is a partnerships steward, driving the development and execution of 360 marketing plans for Partnerships and Sponsorships in the US/CAN resulting in positive consumer engagement, Marriott Bonvoy affiliation, member loyalty and brand awareness. This position will support the US/CAN partnerships team in all aspects of Partnership Strategy and Activation, working with agencies, partners, brands and enterprise cross functional teams to create and execute innovative and impactful programming.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required
- 6+ years' experience in the brand activation, partnership marketing, consumer marketing, and/or field operations/marketing, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
OR
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in marketing, communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience in related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and patter of exceptional performance
- Ability to travel
- Partnership Marketing experience (specifically in sports and entertainment) strongly preferred
Marketing Partnership Strategy, Development, Execution and On-Going Management - Develops and implements strategic Marketing Partnerships through the lens of Marriott Bonvoy Passions (sports, entertainment, music ,etc.) across a range of brands and categories
- Develops annual strategic marketing plans to include; market initiatives by segment, activations, forecasting of yearly marketing events
- that drive engagement, deepen loyalty, drive Marriott Bonvoy awareness & affiliation deliver, and create branded experiences
- Drives Marketing Partnerships strategic planning including short and long-term objectives, research and insights, creative, messaging, experiential activation, and advertising/marketing communications in partnership with enterprise cross functional teams.
- Manages concept development, ideation and execution including asset planning, marketing, approvals, planning/timelines and launches
- Manages pre-transaction support including market, consumer and partner research and insights to support partner recommendations, deal parameters and contract negotiations
- Develops and delivers high impact presentations and communications to present partnership marketing plans and plan updates to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Manages budgets for designated areas of responsibility
- Fosters strong relationships across cross-functionals teams
- Management of agency and talent partners
- Evangelizes Marriott brands to partners.
The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $67.40 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
