Job Description For FLEX Senior Manager, Business Process
This is a temporary position.
The Senior Manager, Business Process is a key member of the Associate Experience + Business Process team within the Business Transformation Office (BTO), reporting to a Director of Business Process. The position is primarily responsible for supporting the company's business process team and center of excellence to support the delivery and adoption of Marriott's Digital and Tech Transformation (DTT) program and other initiatives being led by the BTO. The BTO has been established to enable and accelerate enterprise-wide transformations through unique approaches to strategic planning, program management, change management, experience and business process design, continent coordination, and deployment. This role, as part of the BTO, will support the central orchestration, guidance, and maintenance of how business process design is supported across the organization to drive consistency, integration and value. Success in this role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, a proven ability to manage multiple work efforts at the same time, as well as the ability to work and collaborate across teams and disciplines.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major and 4+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance;
OR
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
- Experience in business process design
Preferred - Experience working with Business Process Mapping Tools
- Consulting experience desired
- Hospitality experience desired
Attributes Skills & Experience Preferred - Communications: Ability to translate complex concepts in a simple, engaging way to generate support and shared understanding
- Strong Planning and Execution: Proven track record of planning and executing strategic projects with fair amount of independence; shows a sense of accountability and resourcefulness
- Facilitation Skills: Support the design, development, and delivery of complex stakeholder experiences, using design thinking, creativity, and expert communication skills, to deliver powerful, results-oriented meetings and workshops.
- Collaboration: Partner with disciplines to support documentation of customer and associate journey maps and blueprints

Additional Responsibilities - Support best practices, methods, processes, tools, and templates for successful execution of DTT and other efforts
- Inform and/or update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner
- Manage time effectively and conduct activities in an organized manner
- Present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, organized manner
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by manager
The pay range for this position is $52.06 to $66.83 per hour.
