Job Description For F&B Sales Manager (Restaurant Sales Manager)
JOB SUMMARY
Areas of responsibility include generating revenue through sales, developing and maintaining sales strategies, and building strong client relationships for the hotel's restaurants and catering services.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
OR
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for restaurant and catering revenue.
- Develop and implement sales plans to attract new business and retain existing clients.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including group bookings, events, and catering.
Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, both existing and potential.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Respond to client inquiries and manage bookings effectively.
Sales Strategy and Execution: - Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor sales trends and make recommendations to management.
Cross-functional Collaboration: - Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, food and beverage, and operations.
- Ensure alignment on sales goals and strategies.
Additional Responsibilities: - Promote the brand and monitor competition.
- Oversee budgets for advertising, marketing, and promotions.
- Generate new ideas for customer incentives and accommodation or business packages.
