We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our resort's dining experience to new heights. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for the overall success of all kitchen operations.
As Executive Chef, you will:
- Showcase your culinary expertise while actively managing and inspiring a dedicated team.
- Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across all outlets.
- Drive guest satisfaction and team performance while maintaining a strong focus on cost control and profitability.
- Oversee all culinary operations including banquets, Ã la carte restaurants, in-room dining, bar/lounge menus, and the staff cafeteria.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation.
- Mentor and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive, professional, and high-performance culture.
- Coordinate with purchasing, stewarding, and other support departments for smooth daily operations.
This role is ideal for a results-driven culinary leader with a passion for excellence, innovation, and guest experience.
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role, preferably in a resort or luxury hospitality setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized culinary institute.
- Deep knowledge of international cuisines, culinary techniques, and evolving food trends.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse kitchen brigade.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Creative flair with the ability to craft and execute innovative, guest-pleasing menus.
- Proficiency in food cost control, inventory management, and budget planning to meet financial targets.
- Thorough understanding of current food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Solid knowledge of sustainable kitchen practices and sourcing, with a commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members, suppliers, and guests.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is a strong advantage.
