Location

This iconic Resort is situated between the renowned Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland. The resort comprises of 295 guest rooms, suites and villas.

Department

An opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Administrator to join the Engineering team at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas. The position reports to the Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

As the Engineering Administrator, you will work closely with and support the engineering team in compiling data and engineering documents and managing project dashboards. Your role will involve advanced Excel and Pivot Table skills to compile and analyse data, ensuring smooth information flow across various engineering functions. Additionally, you will provide higher level support to the Engineering Manager.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Assist the engineering team in gathering and organizing essential data.
• Coordinate the flow of information across teams and project stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain project dashboards to track progress and key metrics.
• Utilise Excel and Pivot Tables for data analysis and reporting.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication between the engineering team and other departments.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar administration role (ideally with a construction or engineering company)
• Experience supporting upper management and senior leaders
• Experience in fast paced environments
• Advanced Excel skills
• Any relevant qualifications are desirable
