Job Description For Digital Marketing Specialist | FTC 12 months
JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Field Marketing Center of Excellence is seeking a dedicated Digital Specialist Manager to manage and execute digital marketing tactics that align with Marriott's brand, loyalty, and hotel teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This role will execute and support digital marketing operations across regional teams, ensuring best practices and brand standards are maintained on a variety of digital platforms.
Core Responsibilities
Paid Media Management
- Manage and execute paid social campaigns on Facebook and Instagram through Sprinklr, along with Google Ads campaigns.
- Develop and manage paid media strategies, track performance, and report on campaign results.
- Optimize campaigns through regular audits, align campaign strategies with objectives, and stay informed on social media trends.
Email Marketing - Develop and manage the EMEA-wide email calendar, coordinate approval processes, and ensure on-time execution.
- Collaborate with hotel teams to gather assets, build offers, and create email layouts for target audiences.
- Liaise with global teams for campaign approvals and oversee testing to meet loyalty team standards.
Website Management - Conduct content audits for Marriott.com hotel sites, update information on hotel pages, and manage photography in compliance with Marriott's brand guidelines.
- Ensure hotel positioning on platforms like Yelp, Google My Business, and Tripadvisor remains accurate and up to date.
- Manage content uploads on third-party listings and assist hotels with content audits and score improvements.
SEO Support - Implement SEO principles to enhance content visibility and create reports to track SEO performance.
Operations Support - Develop landing pages, manage content optimization requests, and foster positive client relationships with hotel teams.
- Coordinate with digital marketing teams to support content workflow management and identify training opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Contribute to defined projects as directed by the Senior Manager, supporting team performance and regional initiatives.
Reporting and Analytics - Distribute monthly reports to participating hotels with accuracy, ensuring timely delivery.
- Pull automated reports to support team insights and distribute to relevant stakeholders.
Vendor and Relationship Management - Maintain relationships with key vendors to improve service delivery, ensure SLA compliance, and support platform enhancements.
- Identify process improvements and track output to improve operational efficiency.
Candidate ProfileEducation and Experience - Diploma in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, with experience managing workflows in content management systems.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, take initiative, and anticipate needs.
Technical & Professional Skills - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet browsing, and data management.
- Experience with paid media tools and content management platforms.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to convey information concisely.
Interpersonal Skills and Personal Attributes - Strong customer service orientation with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
