Job Description For Digital Marketing Coordinator - Part Time
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator to join Adelaide Marriott Hotel reporting to the Director of Marketing (DOM). In this newly created and hands on role, you'll enjoy working closely across all departments to develop and execute innovative digital marketing campaigns across our multiple brands. The role will be pivotal in enhancing brand awareness, maintain website content, grow our social media presence, creating compelling content that strengthens brand identity and engages our audience, and drives growth. The ideal candidate is both a creative and analytical thinker.
Position responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management (Organic & Paid)
- In consultation with the DOM, develop and execute a social media content calendar that aligns with business goals and seasonal trends.
- Create engaging content (graphics, videos, carousels, reels, stories, etc.) tailored to each brand and platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry updates.
- Manage and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to enhance community engagement across our social media channels.
- Plan, create and manage paid social media advertising, budget and audience targeting using Meta Ads Manager.
- Monitor campaigns - engagement rate, click-through rate, and cost per acquisition and adjust campaigns based on performance and budget.
2. Digital Marketing - Update hotel and outlet website content as required, ensuring accuracy consistency and brand alignment.
- Conduct regular content audits of third party websites (OTAs, directories).
- Support the DOM with planning, content creation and analysis of hotel EDM's.
- Manage and maintain customer database across Timesworld and SevenRooms
- Support DOM with Sevenrooms marketing communication, campaigns and reporting on results.
3. Content Creation & Visual Media - Photoshoots & Visual Content - Plan and execute basic photoshoots capture high-quality images and videos.
- Videography & Editing - Shoot and edit engaging videos for social media reels.
- Graphic Design & Photo Editing - Edit photos if required, create social media graphics in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensure all content meets high-quality standards, follows trends, and aligns with brand identity.
- Adapt and optimize content for different platforms.
Experience and Skills Required: - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in content creation and digital marketing.
- Basic photography and videography skills with experience in photo shoots.
- Proficiency in major social media platforms, scheduling tools and analytical software (Later, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Experience managing and understanding Social Media Advertising / Meta Ad Manager.
- Basic proficiency of software's; Adobe Photoshop and Canva
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
