Job Description For Commis Chef (The Westin Dragonara Resort)
Job Summary
We are currently seeking to recruit Commis Chefs who will support in the daily food preparation in order to meet the set standard and quality levels.
In this role, the selected candidates will be:
- Preparing fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
- Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
- Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage areas
Applicants should ideally be in possession of Diploma/Certificate in Food Preparation & Production or equivalent, coupled with a minimum of one year working experience in the field.
