Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Hill Top Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

We, Springhill Suites Auburn, are looking for a dedicated and committed Bartender. You will play a key role in assisting our team to exceed guest expectations and support property-wide initiatives.

What will you do?

The Food & Beverage Server will prepare and serve draft beer, wine, specialty coffee, other beverages, and select food items to patrons.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as beer, wine, coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested.
Describes product details to customers.
Receives and processes customer payments.
Serves prepared foods and baked goods including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, or bagels.
Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.
Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.
Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.
Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

About you:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
Good memory to manage multiple orders simultaneously and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent patrons.
Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly.
Available to work a flexible schedule covering the following shifts: 2:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Sat and 4:00pm-10:00pm on Sun

Education:

Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures.
At least one year of experience with the hotel is preferred.
