Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Bennett Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, ensuring a superior guest experience while optimizing operational efficiency and financial performance. This position requires a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills, capable of cultivating a positive team environment, addressing guest concerns, and maintaining exceptional service levels. Assists the General Manager in leading the team in the development and implementation of property wide strategies. Verifies the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of exceeding guest expectations. Builds relationships with key customers and is involved in the sales process. The AGM will supervise key departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and meetings and events ensuring smooth operations and adherence to brand standards.

Lead, mentor and train leadership team and staff.
Monitor and respond to all Guest Voice, OTA websites and Trip Advisor.
Assist Food & Beverage Department with scheduling and training including brand standards.
Handle operational issues, guest complaints and emergencies promptly and effectively.
Ensure effective, timely and accurate communications flow with regards to hotel policies and procedures.
Manage the scheduling of team members across different departments to ensure adequate coverage, especially during peak times filling in as needed.
Conduct daily and weekly inspections of the hotel and work with other department leaders to ensure cleanliness and maintenance
issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain accurate records including bank deposits, AR aging reports and direct billing.
Assume General Manager role when General Manager is unavailable or away from the hotel.

Salary $55,000- $62,000 based on experience. Health, Dental and Vision benefits available. 401K available.
