POSITION SUMMARY
As the Assistant Front Office Manager at our iconic Hotel Cala di Volpe, you will support the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. You will play a key role in managing the front office team, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Office Manager in managing the front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes.
- Supervise and train front office staff to ensure they provide excellent service to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor and manage room availability, reservations, and rates.
- Ensure that the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist in developing and implementing front office policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and development.
- Handle VIP guests and special requests with utmost care and attention.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Support the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications: - Proven track record in senior front office leadership roles within luxury hotel chains.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High proficiency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in using Opera PMS and other relevant technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Success in this role requires creating a safe workplace, building positive relationships with colleagues, following company policies, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, and upholding quality standards. The Assistant Front Office Manager will be active and on their feet, taking a hands-on approach to their work. This includes moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Performing these tasks well, along with other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors, is essential to providing excellent service to our guests and supporting our business.
