Westport Hospitality proudly announces the promotion of Dana Carver to General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Burlington Harbor Hotel, further enhancing the organization’s commitment to growth and resilience.
I am delighted to lead the team in welcoming visitors to Burlington, said Dana Carver, General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Burlington Harbor Hotel. “With a location central to the community, we have the privilege of offering guests easy access to Lake Champlain, our local breweries and restaurants, and all of the shops just steps away on Church Street. After starting here on the Front Desk team, I have learned the ins and outs of how to cultivate an inspiring environment and am eager to put those lessons to work for our staff, guests, and neighbors.
In her new role, Carver oversees the daily operations of the Burlington Harbor property, working closely with the team and Westport leadership. Dana studied Travel and Tourism Management at Johnson & Wales University before becoming a member of the Front Desk team in 2015. She was promoted to Supervisor, and then Front Office Manager and most recently held the position of Assistant General Manager for the Courtyard.
