Tampa, FL, June 12, 2024 – Tampa Marriott Water Street is excited to introduce Harry W. Siebert as the property’s new Director of Restaurants. In his new role, Siebert will oversee all aspects of the property’s Food & Beverage (F&B) management, including restaurant staffing, strategic planning and community involvement.
“Harry brings with him a wealth of experience in the restaurant and hospitality world,” said Ron McAnaugh, the property’s General Manager. “His leadership and expertise will elevate Tampa Marriott Water Street’s already impressive F&B offerings.”
With a career spanning notable establishments such as North Country Brewing Company, Crown Plaza South Hill and The Meritage Resort and Spa, Siebert is well-versed in overseeing diverse operations. His recent tenures at Omni William Penn and The US GRANT show his ability to manage luxurious event spaces and cater to a discerning clientele. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Communications and Public Relations, Siebert combines operational acumen with a commitment to fostering a culture of service excellence and brand identity.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Tampa Marriott Water Street,” Siebert said. “The hotel is already established as a truly exceptional Tampa dining destination, and I look forward to working closely with the F&B team to provide guests an elevated culinary journey throughout our various concepts.”
At Tampa Marriott Water Street, Siebert will guide the operations of the hotel’s acclaimed dining options, which include:
- Anchor and Brine: Situated on Tampa’s Riverwalk with indoor and outdoor terrace dining options, this waterfront restaurant features a refined yet approachable seafood-forward menu and beautifully styled raw bar.
- Lona: A collaboration between master chefs Richard Sandoval and Pablo Salas, this Mexican dining experience combines traditional flavors with contemporary techniques and artistic presentation.
Siebert will also be an integral part of the redesign and reimagining of the hotel’s waterfront breakfast restaurant, Café Waterside. The concept will be undergoing a renovation.
