More ways for IHG Rewards members to earn points and achieve Elite status.

IHGHotels Resortsis jumpstarting the new year with more ways for IHG Rewards members to earn points and achieve Elite status faster. Updates to the IHG Rewards program and a new global offer provide members with the flexibility they need to travel on their terms while accelerating their journey to the next status tier.

There are multiple opportunities for members to take advantage of, including:

2,000 Bonus Points Every 2 Nights Promotion:With a new promotion launching today, IHG Rewards members can earn2,000Elite Qualifyingbonus pointsfor every two nights spent at participating hotels around the world. For every two qualifying nights stayed from January 20 to March 31, 2021, members will earn 2,000 bonus points, up to 70,000 points.Registrationbegins January 13, 2021. StatusandCriteria:IHG is extending the 25% reduction (nights or points) in Elite qualifying criteria through 2021.
Rollover Nights:All qualifying nights stayed in 2020 for Elite members will be rolled over into 2021 and count towards status earned in 2021. 2020 rollover nights will be automatically reflected in member accounts.
IHG Rewards Club Premier Credit Cards:Cardmembers receive automatic Platinum Elite status and earn points faster on every purchase.

In addition to making it easier for members to earn Elite Status, were announcing additional changes to the program to give members peace of mind that they can travel whenever they are ready.

Credit Card Certificates (USandUK):Certificates with an original 2021 expiration date have been extended and can be redeemed through Dec. 31, 2021.
Points Expiration:IHG extended the pause on points expiration through June 30, 2021 for Club members. Elite status points never expire.
