The Role
This position will lead Hyatt's global financial shared services across multiple regions, including the Americas, EAME/SWA, and ASPAC while overseeing our strategic partnership with Genpact, our business process outsourcing provider.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee and direct the operations of Hyatt's shared service center in Moore, Oklahoma, which supports Full Service and Select Service hotels across the Americas.
•Provide leadership for the shared service center in Cancun, Mexico, serving Hyatt's distribution segments and corporate entities.
•Manage shared services operations across EAME and ASPAC, ensuring consistent alignment with Hyatt's global shared services strategy.
•Guide the global partnership with Genpact, including setting priorities, negotiating deliverables, and monitoring performance to optimize shared services processing worldwide.
•Drive the strategic expansion of global finance and accounting shared services, achieving cost efficiencies through scale, process optimization, and enhanced accuracy and controls. This will include exploring further expansion into administrative functions and business support areas.
•Collaborate closely with global and regional finance, IT, and HR leaders to align shared services with current and future business needs.
•Ensure robust communication, change management, and training plans are developed and executed to support smooth transitions and implementations across all shared services initiatives.
•This role requires frequent domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
•10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting leadership roles
•In-depth knowledge of financial processes, systems, and controls
Experience Preferred:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
•Experience in a multinational corporation
•Proven track record in leading a shared services organization (strongly preferred)
•Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives
