As the Transient Sales Manager - Luxury and Leisure, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share for the transient market through strategic sales initiatives and effective relationship management in the luxury segment. This role requires a keen understanding of the travel industry and a proven track record in sales.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Sales Strategy Development
o Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the transient segment, aligning with overall business goals of the hotel.
o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Revenue Generation
o Generating hotel awareness through sales efforts, familiarization trips, site inspections, and entertaining travel advisors and business travel account managers.
o Collaborate with the revenue and marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotions that attract transient customers.
• Client Relationship Management
o Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
o Attend trade shows and industry events, and elevate effectiveness to ensure a proper return on investment.
o Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure business and meet revenue targets.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
o Utilize Hyatt systems for data analytics to track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
o Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key insights, and recommending strategic adjustments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations, revenue & finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
