Hyatt seeks a Program Manager to join the Hyatt Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with all teams using Hyatt Infrastructure technologies. The Role
In this role you will be responsible, for leading, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing the strategic programs and projects across Business Units. You will define and develop IT program/project management best practices, processes, and policies.
•Ensure all projects are run according to PMO best practices.
•Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
•Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
•Coordinate and deliver thedevelopment of budget and operating plan for programs.
•Align project managers and Business analysts on methods for prioritization, scope, and other best practices.
•Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
•Produce accurate and on-time PMO scorecards to report program/project status.
•Analyzing program risks.
•Facilitate program status meetings and key stakeholder reviews.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
•5 or more years PM-related experience on IT Projects
•Strong communication skills with cross-functional project teams, team workers, functional test teams, sponsors, management, partners, vendors, and users
•Excellent public relationship skills with customers, co-workers & external partners
•Ability to monitor and drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities daily
•Produce high-quality documentation
•Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
•Ability to confidently present concepts and solutions verbally in front of a group
•Ability to offer alternative solutions to program/project scope
•Ability to align with key stakeholders, IT and PMO teams to troubleshoot issues
Experience Preferred:
•Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or the equivalent experience in a related field
•Experience with a project management reporting tool
