We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager, a person who shows the drive to achieve revenue results.
This position reports directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing for the hotel and this position will be the second in charge of the department.
An individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a prominent member within the industry, you will be confident and driven in your approach. You are business savvy and are known for your ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels, are detail orientated and must be able to problem-solve with employees and guests. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be constantly hands on and ready to lend expertise within other departments of the hotel.
Key Qualifications and requirements:
• We are looking for leaders who have a strong sense of direction, confidence and ability to get things done. The success of this position is determined primarily by business numbers.

• Demonstrate an ability to use Sales Management Systems and Revenue Management systems in order to make fact based decisions that makes commercial sense and will benefit the profitability and revenue growth of the hotel
• Demonstrate a proven track record of achieving top line room revenue and other revenue goals of the hotel and also capturing STR Market Share
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
• Must possess the following character traits: strengths: high energy, commercial business sense, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team to dominate the market via active sales calls, prospecting and face to face business conversions.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to converse in other local languages will be an added advantage. The candidate must be in current possession of valid working permit that is currently valid for Malaysia.
