We're looking for an individual who embodies the luxury lifestyle experience-someone who works well in a team-oriented environment, supporting the Food & Beverage team with administrative tasks, delivering VIP experiences, and assisting with the coordination of events. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, receiving and qualifying leads for Food & Beverage managers, and supporting the overall goal of delivering distinctively different guest experiences. This role emphasizes VIP client relations and the seamless coordination of high-profile events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create VIP Experiences: Welcome VIP guests with a warm, personable demeanor, ensuring they feel special and well taken care of from arrival to departure.
- Guest Satisfaction: Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve guest complaints, ensuring their loyalty and satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Share your knowledge of the available services and amenities to enhance guest experiences, making them feel at home.
- Client Relations: Prospect, solicit, and close new business while managing relationships with VIP clients, ensuring their needs are prioritized.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with The Nest General Manager to ensure event details are planned and executed flawlessly, including coordinating with chefs for creative menus and new product ideas.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with staff, clients, and management to ensure smooth operations and the fulfillment of guest needs.
- Telephone and Greeting: Promptly answer phones and enthusiastically greet all guests with a welcoming spirit, even during busy periods.
- Reporting and Quotes: Produce accurate quotes, confirmations, and timely reports on appointments, calls made, and business leads.
- Client Tours: Meet with clients, escort them through the property, and highlight the available services and features.
- Policy Standards and Guidelines: Collaborate with the General Manager to establish and maintain service standards, policies, and procedures that ensure the highest quality of service.
Additional Information:- The hours for this position are flexible, including nights and weekends, to accommodate VIP client needs and high-profile events.
- Thompson Seattle considers the season to be from May to September, though this may vary

Thompson Seattle colleagues begin accruing Vacation Time on their first day of service. At six months of service, colleagues are vested in the time they have been accruing. Full Time & Part Time Colleagues are eligible for vacation time.
- Hire Date Through Four Years 10 Days or 80 hours
- Five to Nine Years 15 Days or 120 hours
- 10 years or greater 20 Days or 160 hours
- Sick Leave:
- Full time, part time and on-call colleagues accrue and have the right to utilize sick and safe time according to Seattle s Paid Sick and Safe Time Ordinance. As a Tier Three employer all colleagues accrue one (1) hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked starting on their hire date, however, these colleagues cannot use their accrued sick time until they have completed 90-days of employment with Hyatt
- Extended Illness Days:unused sick and safe time in excess of 72 hours converted to Extended Illness Days at the end of each calendar year
- Holiday Pay:
- Full-time colleagues are eligible for holiday pay on their first day of employment. The paid holidays for eligible colleagues recognized by our hotel are: New Year s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and 2 pre-approved days for Floating Holidays.

Wage InformationHourly role:The hourly rate for this position starts at $26.54 with an increase to $27.04 after 90 days.
Hourly roles with five-year rates:The hourly starting rate for this position is $27.04 This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for five years, which is an additional $0.50
Hourly roles with seven year rates:The hourly starting rate for this position is $27.04. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for seven years, which is an additional $0.75
Hourly roles with ten year rates:The hourly starting rate for this position is $27.04. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for ten years, which is an additional $1.00
