The Sales Support Specialist position at Grand Hyatt DFW is a dynamic role for individuals seeking to support the hotel's sales efforts and provide attentive service to our clients. Candidates should have the confidence and skill from prior work experience to work and communicate directly with internal colleagues and potential clients.

The Sales Support Specialist will efficiently provide support in all aspects of the Sales Department, including but not limited to: proposal and contract creation, entering and managing sales leads, site inspection preparation, streamlining workflow processes, maintaining customer relationships, and additional day-to-day tasks and projects as requested. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator- both verbal and written, have a keen ability to prioritize and remain highly organized to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while adhering to communicated timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• A positive, team-oriented, and service focused character
• Proficient knowledge of common computer application systems and overall technical literacy
• Effective direct verbal communication with group and transient clients
• Produce precisely written meeting proposals, correspondence, and contractual agreements
• Proactive client assistance and internal communication with colleagues
• A working understanding and knowledge of all booking segments- group/event and transient- is preferred
• Desire to rapidly develop into a Sales role for Grand Hyatt DFW (bonus program included at the sales role level)
• Ability to accurately and effectively execute responsibilities within a fast-paced environment consistently
• Maintain a high level of responsibility and attention to detail with an ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Ability to work in-person, on property, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.
