The hotel will be located at Zadar's landmark Maraska building on the waterfront and will be within walking distance of the city's famousSea Organ, an experimental instrument that plays music through the movement of sea waves. Hyatt Regency Zadar will be a great launching pad for travelers visiting Croatia's Dalmatian coast, the Roman and Venetian ruins, and famous national parks, including Plitvice Lakes, Zadar Archipelago and Kornati National Park.

The sales manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process account management and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, solicits and generates business.
• Proactively finding opportunities for business growth by securing the development of the existing portfolio, while simultaneously acquiring new accounts.
• Entertaining and conducting hotel inspections with partners.
• Engaging in weekly sale activities in order to secure the continuous growth of business. (Sales Calls, Site Inspections, Entertainment, Sales Blitz).
• Assisting to conduct extensive competitor research and maintaining excellent product knowledge of the Hotel.
• Understanding the client needs in order to build "win-win strategic partnerships".
• Liaising and working closely with the related operation departments ensuring guest's expectations are being met.
• Achieving personal sales targets.
• Forward suggestions for improvement to the DOSM, in terms of market strategies, for the steady improvement of the hotel's business situation.
• Regular performance of competitor checks.
• Participation at exhibitions, fairs, sales promotions, etc. and representing the hotel and Hyatt International, in order to gain a positive reputation within the hotel market.
• Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and hotel policies.
• Assisting the team with any support that they require.
• Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
• Ensure all employees maintain an updated awareness of Hotel product knowledge, current promotion, policy changes and appropriate internal communication.
• Travel to foreign countries for sales activities as directed by the DOSM• Focus on solution-oriented problem management
• Regularly run reports, manage database and keep financial records in line with company policy
• Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate.
