Grand Hyatt Melbourne is seeking an industry star to join our 5 star hotel Sales team to cover Parental leave for 9 months.
This role focuses on sales conversion across the hotel's MICE and Events markets. Upon joining this 5 star team, success will be evident through your strategic business approach; resulting in account portfolio growth and the ability to strengthen both our revenue opportunities with a long-term vision on ensuring Grand Hyatt Melbourne continues to increase its premium market position.
This exclusive position is a key contributor to the hotel's success. Responsibilities include full ownership of MICE and Event accounts. The Sales Manager works with guests from initial enquiry all the way through to contracting, and works closely towards a successful handover to our Event Planning professionals. Beyond this, a key component of the Sales Manager's role will entail regular travel opportunities ensuring relationships are strengthened and maintained. The role will report to the Associate Director of Sales but also works closely with all Hotel departments to ensure consistency in product and service delivery to our clients.
