The Group Sales Manager is a motivated individual who preferably has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include: selling guest rooms, up to 30 rooms on peak, meeting space and other Hyatt services to groups to achieve a quarterly quota; managing accounts; conducting site inspections; and soliciting and generating new business for the hotel. Routine duties will include preparing effective and creative proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, creating contracts, utilizing Hyatt systems and networking/entertaining local clients. The Group Sales Manager will also participate in departmental and/or hotel meetings and may assist Director of Sales with projects as needed. The Group Sales Manager will work as a valuable team member alongside the team of sales and catering colleagues and support staff.
The salary range for this position is $77,969.00 to $95,700.00. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications, and education.
