Hyatt Centric Austin is looking for passionate and dedicated hospitality professionals to support our two exciting new Food and Beverage concepts: The Tradition and HeyDey Social Club.

Restaurant Servers are responsible for delivering exceptional service and crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests. As a Restaurant Server, you will be the face of our Food and Beverage operation, greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Servers will also be required to prepare coffee drinks or alcoholic beverages.

This position requires availability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Individuals in this role will also require flexibility to support in multiple areas of the Food and Beverage division including the Tradition: An American Kitchen, HeyDey Social Club, and in room dining.

Our Food and Beverage Concepts

HeyDey Social Club is centered on sunny golden hour hangs where guests can spend all evening at this cheerful bar meets European Social Club. With stellar cocktails and friendly service, HeyDey operates as a cocktail café and is the go-to place for downtown happy hour drinks. Enjoy excellent coffee for a late afternoon pick-me-up, Italian Aperitif style drinks, innovative seasonal takes on classic craft cocktails, natural wine, and local beers. This uniquely hip cocktail and snack bar offers casual and light service with an attitude that doesn't take itself too seriously. For us, grabbing a drink after work is a whole ritual, a precious moment to share a drink and a bite with friends at the end of the workday or before dinner.

The Tradition: An American Kitchen is dedicated to creating a welcoming and dependable neighborhood restaurant where every guest feels at home. Our menu celebrates the essence of Americana with a playful twist, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients and diverse flavors. Enjoy a variety of classic American staples with global influences, including shareable starters, salads, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as expertly prepared sushi hand rolls from our open kitchen. Our beverage program features a curated selection of classic-inspired cocktails that highlight Texas spirits and trending flavors. Our wine menu offers well-known varietals and regions, ensuring perfect pairings. We also proudly serve locally brewed beers in packaged formats.

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin features 246 guestrooms, 3,000 sq ft. of dedicated meeting space, along with two exciting F&B concepts including an 8th floor rooftop bar. Guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering unmatched views of the Texas Capitol, UT Stadium, and growing Austin skyline. The 31st floor is the home of the Artist's Residence, a 1,400sq ft suite and event space with an outdoor terrace. The hotel's boho-chic residential design will reflect Austin's rich history in music and arts, with the common areas showcasing diverse local artists and guestrooms featuring iconic images from the historic neighboring Paramount Theatre.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude and a team spirit
• Availability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight, up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• TABC and Food handlers' certifications required
• Must be able to adhere to hygiene and safety standards as well as maintain cleanliness and organization
