Job Description For Purchasing Driver/Attendant-
Description
Summary: Performprofessional work and deliveries in support of all Food and BeverageDepartments and other department on the resort of multiple activities toinclude receiving goods to maintain and/or support programs, projects and dataentry.
The Receiving Clerk shall strive to provide exceptional service toboth internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible forexemplifying the Wild Dunes Resort Culture as well as promoting Wild DunesResort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
Essential Job Functions:
- Receive goods from Vendors,verifying the correct products as they come in from Vendors, unpacking productsas the come into the warehouse, and unpack the goods and store in the properplace on the shelves.
- Keep track of invoices on incomingshipments and/or gather invoices from all Food and Beverage outlets and keep inorder from each outlet.
- Work with chemicals and toxicmaterial when helping to check supplies into storeroom area and deliveries.
- Keep all items on the shelves inthe proper place.
- Supporting the DistributionCenter, answering phones, assisting departmental managers with any questionsthey may have
- Report all safety hazards andsuspicious person or activities to Security
- Know all safety and emergencyprocedures and your role in assisting during these times
- Attend all monthly and resortrequired meetings
- Assist F&B Controller withprocessing food & beverage transfers from Purchasing to the outlets
- Monthly reconciliation of all Foodand Beverage invoices in Chef Tec. Research any discrepancies
- Assist the F&B Controller withthe value of monthly inventories based on current costs and provide thisinformation promptly to the accounting department
- Assist the F&B Controller withthe monitoring and recording the numbers of menu items consumed each month,applying costs and producing menu potential reports to compare to actual foodand beverage costs
- Ad hoc food and beverage controlprojects as direct by the Controller or requested by the F&B Director.
- Knowledge and experience with MSExcel spreadsheets, ChefTec, Oracle, and Birch Street
- Experience with Infor Genesishelpful
- Understanding and appreciation ofcost/benefit relationships;
- Meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior hospitality/purchasingexperience preferred
- At least one-year customer serviceexperience preferred
Job Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in theUnited States
- Must have valid Driver's licenseand meet resort driving standards
- Must be able to drive guestssafely in extreme weather conditions (rain, wind, fog)
- Must be able to read, write andspeak English
- Must be able to work well underpressure
- Must be able to accurately followinstructions, both verbally and written
- Must possesses excellentcommunication skills
- Must be professional in appearanceand demeanor
- Must always ensure a teamworkenvironment
- Ability to work a flexibleschedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have the ability to dealeffectively and interact well with the guests and colleagues
- Must have the ability to resolveproblems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must have a passion for creatingan exceptional experience for all guests
- Weekends, evenings, and holidayavailability is a MUST.
- To perform this job successfully,an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a varietyof weather conditions (rain, wind, fog, heat)
- Must be able to work indoors oroutside
- Must be able to stand on feetthroughout the day
- Must be able to climb stairsfrequently
- Must be able to frequently lift& carry up to 50-75 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs; such liftingto including carrying weight up and down stairs
- Must be able to bend, squat crawl,kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis.
