About the Role - Pastry Externship
This is a paid Hyatt externship program for students seeking an understanding of the hospitality and culinary industry. This internshipincludes exposure to the hotel pastry division as well as certain restaurants on property. The pastry cook extern is responsible for assisting with the preparation of all pastry products as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards. They also assist in the bread operation that supplies all in house made breads within the hotel.This role may include other duties or special projects related to bread baking, pastry production, and decorating as assigned by Chef.
Wage Information:The expected pay rate for the position is $20.00 per hour.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

•Prior pastry/baking experience in a commercial operation
