ABOUT US:

Our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inspiring environment, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our Engineering Department and help maintain the excellence we are known for.

THE ROLE:

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing key hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and building structures. You will ensure that all essential systems are running smoothly and address maintenance needs across the hotel, including guest rooms, meeting spaces, and common areas. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to urgent repair needs, and contribute to the overall upkeep and safety of the property.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance or a similar mechanical role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Strong working knowledge of major building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using computer-based maintenance management systems (e.g., windows-based systems).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a variety of areas.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively during all shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in varied environments.
• A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
