The Sally's Lead Greeter is responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. This individual has the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction. If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Greeter at Hyatt.

Job Duties Include:

• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for the staff.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Perform regular inspection of the dining rooms and maintain cleanliness of the facility while communicating with management areas of concern.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Scheduling breaks for the other greeters and ensure proper coverage during the lunch and dinner rush.
• Ability to prioritize well and remember all guests' requests.
• Openness to constructive feedback and being coached/ mentored.

Requirements:

• Support leadership to ensure desired behavior is modeled consistently for greeters and to offer guidance and coaching when appropriate.
• Uphold SOPs and steps of service expectations, ensuring accountability of the team.
• Ensure restaurant customer seating is optimally paced with leadership support to avoid backing up the kitchen.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends as well as holidays
• Open Table experience preferred

Schedule: Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Wage: the wage for this position is $26.75 per hour
