They must possess strong leadership skills and have a deep understanding of coffee and bakery products. By taking on the role of shift lead, the individual will play an integral part in creating a positive and memorable experience for customers, while contributing to the success and growth of the coffee and bakery establishment.
• Supervising and leading a team of baristas and bakery staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Managing daily operations such as opening and closing duties, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Training and mentoring new employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the menu offerings and can deliver high-quality products.
• Monitoring product quality and consistency to maintain the highest standards.
• Collaborating with management to develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer experience, and optimize efficiency.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a coffee and bakery setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso preparation, and bakery products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer complaints or operational issues.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and willingness to follow proper hygiene practices.
• Basic computer skills for utilizing point of sale systems and other business software.
