Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand their travel needs and preferences, providing personalized assistance and guidance throughout the booking process. Utilize extensive knowledge of travel options and industry trends to recommend suitable travel arrangements, including accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Manage incoming email promptly and effectively, providing comprehensive responses while maintaining a high level of professionalism and clarity in communications.
- Use VAX RezAgent, CRO, and TMP systems proficiently to confirm reservations, process payments and ensure seamless travel arrangements for colleagues.
- Communicate and uphold policies governing colleague vacation fulfillment, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and standards.
- Manage ALG's IATAN card program, managing card updates, processing applications and promptly addressing inquiries to facilitate colleagues' access to IATAN benefits.
- Collaborate with suppliers and the supplier engagement team in procuring discounted rates from suppliers for colleague benefits.
- Ensure Colleague Travel Policy and forms are regularly updated with current and accurate information and are aligned with company policies.
- Handle the processing of vacation and hotel prize giveaways won within ALG Vacations, ensuring a smooth and efficient redemption process for colleagues.
- Process all colleague supplier requests in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and efficiency in meeting their needs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.
Qualifications:- Basic understanding of the travel industry and/or travel agency background.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Enthusiastic, innovative, and creative.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong administrative, organization, and time management skills (ability to prioritize & multi-task).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly and accurately comprehend numbers by adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
- Travel industry experience would be ideal but not required.
- 1-3 years customer service and computer proficiency.
- 3-5 years travel experience a plus along with complex problem resolution.
