In-Room Dining Order Takers record guest food and beverage in-room dining orders and offer menu suggestions. This role has continuous communication with the in-room dining servers on amenity coordination and all deliveries. The interaction between Order Takers and guests can determine the overall satisfaction of the in-room dining experience. Responsibilities

• Order Takers record guest food and beverage in-room dining orders and offer menu suggestions
• This role has continuous communication with the in-room dining servers on amenity coordination and all deliveries
• The interaction between Order Takers and guests can determine the overall satisfaction of the in-room dining experience

Wage: The base pay for this position is $17/hr plus service charge and gratuities. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and training levels. AlilaVentana Big Sur is an all-inclusive resort which means select positions such as this are eligible to receive a service charge payout ranging from $200-$500 per week*subject to change based on business levels.

Shift: Part-time and on-call support is needed for In Room Dining. Varying shift times include: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm, 3 pm - 10:15 pm all days of the week available

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Refined customer service and phone etiquette
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Flexible schedule to meet the needs of our guests

Physical Requirements

• Sitting up to 30 minutes at a time when assisting guests on the in-room dining telephone and computer system
• Infrequent walking when moving around In-Room Order Taker work space
• Infrequent standing
• No squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, crawling or climbing required
• Infrequent lifting of amenities weighing less than 5 pounds
