The Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk is looking for a dynamic, creative, and motivated Event Sales Manager to join our vibrant team. The Grand Hyatt consists of 1003 guestrooms and 115,000 square feet. We are seeking a motivated and creative new leader to take advantage of unique opportunities to impress and delight our future groups within the local market. The Event Sales manager is responsible for capturing local catering business (Corporate Events, Association Events, Galas, Holiday Parties and and Weddings) while maximizing banquet space to meet and exceed sales goals. Primary sales efforts are in banquet food, beverage and room rental to include but not limited to: selling and servicing, conducting hotel tours, tastings, menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff and clients to ensure a high level of service. This is not a remote position and hotel presence is required.
