Description
The Area Reservations Generation Manager is responsible for overseeing the process of generating and managing hotel reservations. This includes implementing revenue management systems and strategies to optimize room rates and inventory, overseeing the hotel reservations department, monitoring occupancy levels and revenues, and training and developing reservations personnel. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in reservations management and customer service.
The Area Reservations Generation Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the hotel is operating at optimum occupancy levels and providing guests with exceptional service. The ideal leader is analytical, innovative, organized and collaborative.
Other responsibilities include managing a team of reservation agents, training and coaching staff on effective processes and customer service techniques and collaborating with other departments to ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their stay.
