Langlands Restaurant & Bar

Langlands Restaurant & Bar is modern in nature but at the same time, rustic in character. Our kitchen provides Victorian sourced produce, married with a beverage list that will be ever changing. Langlands Restaurant's focus is fresh, colourful, sustainable and approachable.

Head Bartender

As the Head Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of service across both lunch and dinner shifts. You will oversee our beer, spirits, and cocktail lists while assisting in the smooth and efficient operation of the bar. Your leadership will guide a dynamic team while ensuring that Hyatt International's brand standards are met with precision and excellence.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Curate, innovate, and update beverage lists
• Preparing, mixing and serving cocktails and beverages
• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver the highest level of customer service and operational efficiency
• Provide a warm, personalized experience for guests, sharing your beverage expertise.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards within the bar area.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of products and supplies, and keeping track of usage to minimise waste and ensure profitability

Qualifications
About you:

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a similar or high-paced environment.
• In-depth understanding of bar operations, cocktail creation, and beverage trends.
• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• A strong passion for mixology, spirits, and cocktails, coupled with the creativity to design standout beverage lists.
• Ability to lead, manage time effectively, and inspire the team.
• Extensive knowledge of wine to enhance the bar's offerings and cater to guest preferences.
