As a Customer Care Center Specialist, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls to the Hyatt Regency Seattle, and directing calls to the most appropriate team within the hotel, as well as answering questions related to our hotel. To be successful in this position, our Specialists must be comfortable conversing with guests and callers, have the ability to manage a high volume of calls, good typing skills, and a pleasant and welcoming phone presentation.
Our Customer Care Center Specialist will also have an opportunity to be scheduled as a Bell Attendant! Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. It's important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations.
The hourly rate for this position will vary, depending on if you are scheduled as a Customer Care Specialist, or as a Bell Attendant.
For Customer Care Center Specialists, the hourly rate range for this position is $25.20/hour to $26.72/hour. Your starting rate will be $25.20/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is $25.70/hour. For those colleagues identified as Team Leads, Leads earn an hourly rate of $26.20/hour, with the potential to earn $26.72/hour if they have remained in the Lead capacity for four years or more with Hyatt.
For Bell Attendants, the hourly rate range for this position is $23.15/hour to $23.61/hour. Your starting rate will be $23.15/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered at $23.61/hour.
When working as a Bell Attendant this position earns additional compensation through gratuities at the guest's discretion, as well as service charges from "Room Drops" and "Porterage" as indicated specifically in the client contracts.
