Location: Stowe Mountain Course and Stowe Country Club
Job Description: Mow greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens; rakes sand traps manually and with power rakes. Aerify greens; verticut tees and greens; spike greens; operate sod cutter; and mow rough with rotary and operates other equipment as directed. Maintain gasoline, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily, report equipment problems and failures to equipment manager immediately. Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the assistant superintendent or equipment manager; and return equipment to designated location at the maintenance facility. Utilize loaders to remove dirt, debris and other materials. Drive a dump truck to haul materials and refuse; operate portable pumps. Change pins and tee markers. Inform supervisors about any irregularity to the golf course. Must effectively interact with club members, community guests, residents, ski facility operations personnel, and guests and personnel.
Days and Shifts: Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 8:00am-4:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm and 5:30pm-2:00am, shifts based on the time of the season, daylight, and need.

Qualifications
Special Requirements for the Job: Ability to walk for up to 4 hours without major disruption. Ability to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience must include the safe mechanical operation of trucks and other motorized equipment. Experience must include the operation of gasoline and diesel engines. Experience must include the use of manual maintenance tools. Must be willing to work in any type of weather conditions during the dates of employment. Must have ability to follow oral and written directions. Must have possession of a valid driver's license or ability to attain driver's license within 2 weeks of start date. Must not have a suspended, revoked, invalid or expired driver's license. Must not have: more than 3 driving violations in the past 3 years; one or more serious infractions in the past 3 years (DUI, DWI, hit and run, excessive speed, evading police); reckless or careless driving in the past 3 years; 2 or more cited accidents in the last year; no misdemeanor or felony convictions. Able to communicate verbally in English. Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to work on male and female guests. Must not have any type of past misconduct in the job.

Visa Fees: The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. Three-Fourths Guarantee: In accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(f); the employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Inbound/Outbound Transportation: Transportation and subsistence costs from the place from which the worker has to travel, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment will be provided to the worker by check if the worker completes 50% of the period of employment. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable cost of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts, consistent with 20 CFR.20(j)(1)(i) and 20 CFR 655.20(j)(1)(ii). Tools: The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assign in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k).
