This role is responsible for theguest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for engaging conversation and has a direct impact on creating a memorable guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You will be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Associate. You may also be required to assist with PBX telephone operator and concierge duties as needed.

When scheduled as Night Auditor, you will be responsible for the oversight of night audit duties as well as the oversight of the front office during the overnight shift.The Night Auditor will act as Manager on Duty during the overnight hours.

To ensure success you will be professional and pleasant in challenging situations and take responsibility for satisfaction of guests from arrival to departure. Preferred candidates will be positive, pro-active and be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions

• Greet and Check in guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Perform all guest check-in and checkout procedures, which includes obtaining or confirming guest information, assigning rooms, activate and distribute keys, etc.
• Anticipating and addressing guests' needs and resolving their problems and complaints.
• Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
• Balance all ledgers and work performed during the audit shift.
• Ensure the proper posting and charging regarding guest billing.
• Prepare the front office for the am shift and reset the day's business.
• Act as Manager on Duty.
• Ensure all guest requests are handled during the night audit shift.
• Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings.

Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Previous Night Audit experience is preferred.
• Ability to speak a second Language fluently will be considered an asset.
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications;
• Refined verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends, holidays, overnight shifts
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for scheduled period of time.
